PCC EHR Demonstrations and Training
PCC is ready to release the first version of our pediatric EHR, which you and about 200 of your pediatric peers helped create! Of course, we could not be more excited to deliver the PCC EHR to your practice in the near future. During the UC, you'll have several opportunities to get a demonstration of the EHR, learn more about features planned for upcoming releases of the EHR, and learn what you can do now to prepare your practice for the EHR. All of the PCC EHR courses are offered once each day, Wednesday through Friday.
Each day of the UC:
8:30 - 10:00 Get to Know the PCC EHR
10:15 - 11:45 The Future of the PCC EHR

2:30 - 4:30 PCC EHR Focus Group (Topics TBD)
Course Descriptions
Get to Know the PCC EHR
You'll get a demonstration of the first version of the PCC EHR which you and about 200 of your pediatric peers helped create! Learn how the PCC EHR can help your practice make transitioning from the paper charting to electronic charting systematic and easy for your practice, no matter what level of comfort with computers. During this course, you will receive a tutorial that you can use in the Open Lab to get hands-on experience with the EHR at your own pace.
The Future of the PCC EHR
Learn how you can become involved in the development of the PCC EHR moving forward by joining the PCC Design Committee. PCC's own design team will demonstrate just how integral member input is in the design of the first version of the EHR, and even moreso in features planned for later releases. You'll also be some of the first to learn about new features we'll be working on that have not yet been released to the Design Committee for feedback.
Preparing for the PCC EHR
The PCC EHR will be seamlessly integrated with your Partner System. This course will outline the configuration changes you will need to make to prepare for implementation of the EHR, such as organizing your diagnosis and procedure tables, setting up form letters, and creating visit-specific encounter forms. EHR workstation hardware requirements and recommendations will also be addresssed, so that you can purchase user hardware that is well-suited to your practice.
PCC EHR Focus Group
Design Committee members have been extremely generous with their time and ideas during online focus groups. PCC's design team is planning to have in-person focus groups each afternoon of the UC, knowing that this informal exchange of ideas results in the best EHR design for your pediatric practice.
