- Useful Newsletter from CMS
- EDI Compliance Delay: In January of 2002, President Bush signed into law an extension for compliance with the HIPAA EDI Standards. This law required medical offices to file with CMS if they will not be in compliance with the HIPAA EDI Standards by October, 2002. Since the deadline has passed, HHS has taken down their compliance delay web site.
